Another Royal couple that makes it to this list is Prince William and Kate Middleton. They fell in love as college students, and then he eventually made her an official member of the family in 2011. They got married at Westminster Abbey, and the total expenses reached $34 million.

Like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the couple also had to invest a considerable chunk of their budget in security. Today, Prince William and Kate live in Kensington Palace with their three children. He is second in line in ascending to the throne, succeeding his father, Prince Charles.
