Only Love Lives Here
We don’t think there is an image that shows what Woodstock was about better than this one. It must have been great fun exploring the event grounds if these three signs are anything to go by, and the bottom line was that you would find love and happiness everywhere you went.
The event was the perfect example of how optimistic the generation was, and they tried to spread the optimism through music, bringing together people from all walks of life to appreciate the love that had brought them through the World Wars and different disasters. While the long term dream wasn’t achieved, the memories created at Woodstock will live forever.
