Simone Biles
In modern gymnastics, Simone Biles is indeed among (if not) the best in the sport. She’s from Columbus, Ohio, and her World Championship and Olympic medals amount to 32 already. Biles got home-schooled when she was a teenager so she could spend more time training.
She was supposed to study at UCLA and compete in their gymnastic team, but she decided to turn professional. Biles represented the United States once again in the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, and she made headlines after she stepped away from the individual all-around competition citing mental health.
