Kids Hate It When Grown-Ups Kiss, But Why?
Psychologists believe that kids don’t like to be kissed because it makes them feel like someone else can intrude on their territory without a problem. In fact, kids who deny kisses from their parents are actually displaying a virtuous ability to set boundaries and say no.
This may help to explain why kids have such a hard time seeing grown-ups exchanging kisses. They all eventually grow out of it, but they sure look like they’re in pain whenever their parents decide to get intimate. The dapper boy on the right makes for a perfect example of what we mean.
