Schaffen is Going to Court
On February 8th, 2018, Fox News reported that Schaffen would be the target of a child abuse investigation conducted by the Wood County Children’s Services in collaboration with the Haskins Police Chief Colby Carroll.
Speaking to the press, Carroll mentioned that he’d never seen a case of abuse like this in his decades-long career working in the force. The nature of the abuse was unique, as well as the widespread public attention. By the time the investigation was complete, the case was taken to court. In Fostoria, Ohio, all eyes were on Christin, Schaffen, and Kelsey.
