Larry Johnson

The retired professional basketball player, Larry Johnson, blazed the NBA with his talent as a power forward between 1991 and 2001. He played for the Charlotte Hornets and New York Knicks, becoming a two-time consensus first-team All-American. At the University of Nevada, he won several team and individual accolades before going professional.

Johnson’s career highlights and awards would continue to grow in the professional realm, where he became a two-time NBA All-Star in 1993 and 1995. His prowess on the basketball court saw him become an inductee of the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame in 2008 and the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019.
