Scottie Barnes
The 2022 NBA Rookie of the Year, Scottie Barnes, had unmatched go-go-gadget arms and a unique feel for the game among his first-year peers. The former Florida State Seminoles college basketball player was honored with the ACC Freshman of the Year award in 2021. In 2022, he made the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
Barnes is known for his willingness to always put his body on the line to make winning plays. When compared to many players with his pedigree, not many would put themselves on the line for the team. His determination can be traced back to his high school days as a budding basketball player.
