Chris Evert Lloyd – 1954
Chris Lloyd, the former world number one female tennis player from the United States, is well-known to the majority of the population. Despite many difficulties, she always fought back stronger than before and emerged victorious. Lloyd won 18 Grand Slam singles titles and spent a significant portion of his career as the world’s top-ranked player.
With a total of 34 Grand Slam singles final appearances, she set a new record for the most final appearances by a female tennis player in professional tennis history. For 11 years, she was the chairman of the Women’s Tennis Association, a position she held in addition to her tennis career.
