Richard Dean Anderson – 1950
With his breakout role as Angus MacGyver in the mid-’80s television action series “MacGyver,” Richard Anderson became an international star. Mac, the series’ traditional action hero, portrayed a secret agent who delights in defending humanity from evil forces. There were 139 episodes in this project, and 173 in “Stargate214” he featured. While participating in “MacGyver,” it was also a part of a few commercial deals with Pepsi and Mastercard.
For the duration of the show’s run, he was also one of its producers. Together with “Stargate: SG-1” co-star Michael Greenburg, Anderson formed Gekko Film Corporation while on set. During the 1997 to 2007 run of “Stargate: SG-1,” this business produced every episode.
