Ramahlwe Mphahlele – $240k
Sometimes we make decisions that we regret. Ramahlwe Mphahlele was the butt of many a joke over the last five years, for having made a “bad move” in 2016 when he left his captaincy role at Mamelodi Sundowns to join the Kaizer Chiefs.
He had to watch from screen how his former team won the CAF Champions League, becoming only the second South African team to do so (after the Orland Pirates). However, he seemed to get a chance to have the last laugh when he reached the CAF Final with the chiefs. However, they lost 3-0, and so bitter is the regret.
