Suddenly Jewish

Having a child changes a person. But Richard always thought it was odd that Kate developed a sudden interest in Judaism once she became pregnant with their first son. Even though the couple had no direct links to the religion, Kate was adamant about giving their son a Jewish middle name and not having him christened.

At the time, Richard thought Kate was just going through a maternity-inspired spiritual awakening. After learning the truth about his infertility, Richard interpreted the situation differently. Could it be that the birth father of his sons was Jewish and that he insisted that Kate raised the children as Jewish?
