Peter’s Betrayal

At the base of his visitor’s list, there was Peter, his junior co-worker with whom they shared a common workspace. Ten years back, he had taken him under his wing and mentored him at work to become an excellent worker. He believed that they had a strong and unshakable relationship.

In fact, it was Peter who had accompanied him to the gem store to choose and buy their infamous wedding wand. He didn’t want to imagine, let alone believe, that he could be the one responsible for his predicament. Just how wrong he was! It was Peter all along, right before his nose.
