A Painful Encounter With A Ball

Although this action shot was perfectly timed, we can’t imagine how painful it must have been for this man. He probably didn’t have good reflexes to catch the ball, which we can assume to be flying so fast, or he simply didn’t have enough time to react.

The truth is, photographer Jim McIsaac caught this hilarious scene of the basketball hitting  Washington Wizards coach Randy Wittman’s face in 2013 during the team’s game against the Brooklyn Nets. As expected, it launched a barrage of memes and circulated the internet, with some showing pity for the official while others poked fun at his seeming lack of reflex.
