Gentle Giant Caught On Cam
Swimming with sea creatures is not unusual; we do it with fish and other organisms beneath the surface. However, cameraman Marco Queral got an unparalleled chance to be so close to a humpback whale, so much so that he got a free ride!
This photo also shows us a great comparison of a human’s size to this beautiful beast. According to Oceana, humpback whales can grow up to 50 feet, and despite this massive size, they are not considered predatory. Although there have been reports of accidental collisions, they are considered harmless to people, so we’re not really surprised that Queral can be this close.
