This cheerleading squad catches the eye with its white and aqua uniforms and metallic blue pom-poms that sparkle under the stadium lights. We’re speaking of the Carolina Panthers TopCats, established in 1995. The Chandalae Lanouette-directed team wows with its performances and carries a legacy of community involvement and innovation. Their history sets standards, breaks barriers, and builds a community that extends far beyond the football field.

In 2022, Justine Lindsay, a transgender person, joined their ranks, becoming the first of its kind in the NFL cheerleading society. Kimberly Coon, a contestant on “The Bachelor Season 15,” takes pride in having cheered for the squad, as well.
