Washington Commanders Cheerleaders
Founded in 1962, the Washington Commanders cheerleaders, formerly known as the Redskins, showcased their spirit in maroon and gold. Their uniforms, a display of team pride, are complemented by gold and white pom-poms, adding a touch of flair to their routines. This squad witnessed the franchise’s evolution firsthand, including its rebranding to the Commanders.
In 2021, the cheerleading squad was disbanded, albeit controversially. To curb fans’ anger, the management announced plans to replace it with the Command Force consisting of a mixed dance team. Beyond cheering, they engaged in community service, showcasing their commitment not just to entertainment but to making a positive impact.
