John Boozman & Cathy Boozman – Together Since 1972

John Boozman is the senior senator representing the state of Arkansas, and he’s held the position since 2010. Boozman is a former physician, and most notably, he set up the Arkansas School for the Blind’s low vision program in Little Rock.

John and Cathy were high school sweethearts, and in 1972, they made things official. They have three daughters: Lauren, Kristen, and Shannon. They also have four grandchildren. Cathy coordinates the Republican Congressional Spouses, which brings together politicians’ spouses for monthly gatherings. The meet-ups held at the Capitol Hill Club include a lecture and lunch.
