In 2022, CBS News reported that the minority leader of the Florida Senate, Lauren Book, is pushing for a new law after being the victim of extortion. A well-known politician in her native state of Florida, she’s a member of the Democratic Party who’s been serving in the local senate since 2016.

Previously married to the professional golfer Kris Lim, Book has since found love in the arms of the technologist/account executive Blair Byrnes. They tied the knot in 2015, five years following Book’s divorce, and have since welcomed twin children to the world.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Representative, is creating ripples in Congress as the youngest woman to hold the office. Despite holding a public office, Ocasio-Cortez prefers to keep her personal life private but we know that she is dating Riley Roberts.

Roberts is a web developer who serves as the head of marketing for the home maintenance site called Home Binder. According to Ocasio-Cortez’s 2018 Vogue profile, Roberts supports her massive and he’s an “easy-going redhead.” They met at Boston University where they both attended weekly Friday conversations held by the dean.

Kamala Harris & Doug Emhoff – Together Since 2014

Kamala Harris officially became U.S. Vice President in January 2021 and recently moved with her family into Number One Observatory Circle, the historic vice president’s residence. She previously served as a state senator representing California.

Harris met Doug Emhoff, a legal professional, through a mutual friend. A blind date they had in 2014 soon saw them walking down the aisle later that year. Their union subsequently made Harris a stepmother of two. Emhoff was previously married to film producer Kerstin Emhoff, and their daughter Ella is now an accomplished model and artist.
