Brian Kemp & Marty Kemp – Together Since 1994

Brian Porter Kemp is Georgia’s 83rd governor, and he assumed the office in 2019. Kemp previously served as the Secretary of State as well as a Georgia State Senate member. He ventured into politics after working in the real estate, agribusiness, and financial sectors. Kemp signed several voting rights limitations into law in 2021.

Marty Argo is the daughter of the late Bob Argo, who served as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives. Kemp and Argo had their wedding in 1994 and now have three daughters. As the First Lady of Georgia, Marty is credited for highlighting the issue of human trafficking as one of Capitol’s 2021 agendas.
