Tulsi Gabbard & Abraham Williams – Together Since 2015
Tulsi Gabbard represented Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district up until January 2021. She became an elected member of the Hawaii House of Representatives in 2002 when she was 21. She also served with the Hawaii Army National Guard’s medical unit and later as a platoon leader with the Military Police Corps.
Gabbard and Abraham Williams, a freelance cinematographer, tied the knot in 2015. They first met when Williams worked on Gabbard’s 2012 political campaign as a volunteer. Her previous marriage to Eduardo Tamayo ended in 2006, with the two citing how war stresses military couples.
