Jimmy Carter & Rosalynn Carter – Together Since 1946

Jimmy Carter served as the 39th President of the U.S. between 1977 to 1981. Carter joined fellow former presidents, including Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, to denounce the 2021 storming of the Capitol Building. Carter stands as the first former U.S. president to have made it four decades past his tenure at the White House.

Eleanor Rosalynn Smith, now Carter, developed a soft spot for her now-husband when she saw a photo of him clad in uniform while he attended the U.S. Naval Academy in 1945. She agreed to marry him the following year, and they welcomed four children.

Kamala Harris & Doug Emhoff – Together Since 2014

Kamala Harris officially became U.S. Vice President in January 2021 and recently moved with her family into Number One Observatory Circle, the historic vice president’s residence. She previously served as a state senator representing California.

Harris met Doug Emhoff, a legal professional, through a mutual friend. A blind date they had in 2014 soon saw them walking down the aisle later that year. Their union subsequently made Harris a stepmother of two. Emhoff was previously married to film producer Kerstin Emhoff, and their daughter Ella is now an accomplished model and artist.

Mary Miller & Chris Miller – Together Since 1980

A member of the United State House of Representatives, the American politician Mary Miller is the embodiment of the ideal Republican. A farmer and Christian woman, she’s married to the fellow Republican Chris Miller and puts family above all else. These two tied the knot in 1980 and genuinely committed to their vows.

Since becoming wife and husband, they welcomed seven children to the world. With that many kids, it’s natural that the Millers are the proud grandparents of a total of 17 children. It goes without saying: the Miller family name will continue for years and years to come!
