The Missing Tiger’s Stripes

How does one tell one tiger from another? Well, just like humans, tigers have unique features that set them apart. Their stripe pattern is like a fingerprint. It’s true! And here’s something interesting: tigers can have over 100 stripes, and no two tigers have the exact same pattern.

However, sometimes identifying a tiger can be a little challenging, especially if it’s covered in mud like this one photographed in Manas National Park, India. After cooling off in a mud bath, the majestic creature emerged with its fur mostly blurred, making it almost look like it had lost its stripes. A closer look might reveal a one-of-a-kind pattern!
