Sending Love To Thanos From Iron Man
Actor Josh Brolin was chosen to play Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after director James Gunn recommended him to the Russo brothers. The actor initially turned down the role but later accepted after reading the script and meeting with the filmmakers.
It makes sense because imagining another person playing the part would be difficult. Besides, Brolin has gotten so close to his co-stars, including Robert Downey Jr., who portrayed Iron Man in the titular movies and “Avengers” franchise. Unfortunately, in “Endgame,” using the infinity stones to defeat Thanos took a significant toll on Iron Man, and—spoiler alert—he died as a result.
