It’s hard to believe that before being cast in “Game of Thrones,” Maisie Williams had no prior professional acting experience. She was just 12 years old when she was cast but has received critical acclaim for her performance on the show, including two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2016 and 2019.

Despite her success as an actress, Williams has said that she would like to pursue a career in marine biology, which also reflects her collaborations with  Greenpeace and the United Nations to raise awareness about climate change. Another thing to love is that she is very funny!
