Dealing With Security
As with any incident where the metal detector was triggered, security has to pull the person aside to conduct searches. Of course, small-town Mrs. Wilson knew none of these procedures, since she has never experienced a metal detector. The security guards were good with her though.
They explained how the machine worked to her and why it was important to check all metal objects before boarding a plane. Of course, this was pretty serious since the metal detector’s role is to detect any potential weapons on passengers. It took a few trips through the thing though, before they uncovered the key in her shoe.
