What would make a senior citizen buy a Business class ticket though? Well, she said her son would be on the flight she had booked and learned that she would be closer to him by booking this caliber of ticket. Her tickets may not have costed as much as many thought though.

Airlines used to offer a 10% discount on flights for senior citizens. This practice has been eradicated though, and very few flight companies still do it.
