Lauren Holly
Born in Pennsylvania to two professors, Lauren Holly chose to carve her own path in a totally different profession. She began her acting career in the ’80s with a two-episode stint on “Hill Street Blues” following her graduation from Sarah Lawrence College. And it’s safe to say she hasn’t looked back since!
Holly notably portrayed director Jenny Shepard on “NCIS” in the mid-’00s. Although she told CBS that she struggled with the serious part given her background in comedy, she performed well for the three seasons she worked on the show. Since then, she’s scored recurring roles in programs like “Designated Survivor” in 2019 and “Tiny Pretty Things” in 2020.
