Paul McCartney and Heather Mills – $3M

You can’t always have whatever you want—but that changes when you marry a former member of the iconic rock band, The Beatles! It was back in 2002 that McCartney put a wedding ring on Mills’ finger in a gorgeous Glaslough castle in Ireland. It would accompany the $19K sapphire and diamond engagement ring from Jaipur, India that he had given her when he proposed. However, things went downhill in 2008 and they found themselves amidst a divorce settlement—which ironically cost more than the actual ceremony of their nuptials. But that is often the case and most definitely common in the entertainment industry!
