Marie Cavalier married Prince Joachim of Denmark in 2008. The Prince met the Paris-born Marie while he was actually still married to his first wife. Their relationship only started far later, after filing for divorce from his then-wife. Interestingly, Princess Marie actually wasn’t enthusiastic about the prospect of marrying a royal, as she was comfortable with her life as it was. However, their love triumphed. Arasa Morelli, the Italian-Spanish house of fashion, created Cavalier’s wedding dress. The guest stands were loaded with royalty coming from countries such as Sweden, Norway, and Greece among others.
