He held an extravagant affair, though not nearly as opulent as his first to Diana. On the guest list was Crown Prince Alexander, King Hamid Al-Khalifa of Bahrain, Princess Nouf of Saudi Arabia, Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, and Mette-Marit, Crown Princess of Norway—among several others. The nuptials was in two stages, first a civil ceremony, then a religious blessing at St. Georges Chapel at Windsor Castle.
