A Beautiful Marriage
Doesn’t this just look like a couple who is going to make beautiful babies? Jaqi and Kevin Clements, a swimming coach currently working for JSerra Catholic High School, Married in 2003. They didn’t immediately have children, and five years after getting married, they had their first child, a boy named Chase.
Despite taking so long to have their first child, the couple appeared to go into a baby-making mode. Not long after Chase was born, the couple discovered that they were pregnant again. This time it was double trouble too, as Jaqi was carrying twins.
Coming Early, Just Like They Always Do
If carrying twins wasn’t hard enough, Jaqi was in for an even bigger surprise when the twins decided that they were coming earlier than expected. They came more than a month earlier on 7 July 2010, but they were born perfectly healthy.
The twins are a part of 11.4% of children who are born prematurely around the world. That’s roughly 15 million births worldwide, which in turn equates to about one in 10 of births. Of those 15 million, 80% percent of them are unplanned premature births. According to the Jaqi, the twins’ birth was announced, which is so like them.
