Oprah Winfrey – Estimated $30K, Volkswagen Beetle
Oprah Winfrey’s O Magazine ended the publication of the monthly print issues in 2020. That followed the conclusion of the highly-rated Oprah Winfrey Show in 2011. Just a few months before the show aired its finale, Winfrey treated her audience to an incredible gift.
A whopping 275 of the show’s audience members each got a 2012 model of the Volkswagen New Beetle. Volkswagen even threw in money to cover all fees, including taxes, associated with owning the donated vehicles. In 2004, 276 lucky folks who were part of the show’s taping got Pontiac G6 vehicles.
