Give Him A Mirror, Now!
At the zoo, all eyes were on the little boy in a shirt with an animal face printed on it. He was petting a calf, which stared intently at his shirt as if it knew it was a fellow farm animal. The calf, being the smartest of the ruminating animals, was able to recognize the colors and figures of the animal printed on the shirt.
A calf will usually nurse for 7-9 months and can even recognize its own mother’s voice! The child and calf certainly enjoyed each other’s company, as though they shared a special bond. It was an extra special occasion for a memorable day at the zoo.
