Reward of Gentleness

Some dog breeds have a lot of energy, while others have a lot of serenity. Some breeds are noted for their sociability, whereas others are famous for their intelligence or agility. However, many dog species are naturally kind and affectionate.

These lovely pups don’t mind if kids crawl all over them or meddle with them at mealtime. Many of them, such as the Golden Retriever, Beagle, and Newfoundland, make excellent service or therapy dogs due to their even temperaments. The one in this picture is one of those, and the little kid has plenty of love to share, as can be seen in the picture.
