Doing His Part

Having animals, according to experts, teaches responsibility. There’s always enough work to go around for those who grew up on farms. From gathering eggs to feeding the small animals, there’s a lot to do. We’re sure it makes the youngsters feel like they’re contributing something to the family.

This little man is doing his part in this situation by feeding the cat, and isn’t that adorable? Set age-appropriate tasks that you know your child can accomplish to encourage him to take on responsibility. This will demonstrate to him that he is capable of looking after himself and preparing him for greater responsibilities later in life.
