Joaquin Phoenix – Walk the Line

The American actor Joaquin Phoenix was born to a show-business family, with his siblings’ River, Rain, and Liberty also pursuing acting careers. As a child, he rose to prominence mainly after appearing in the drama-family series “Morningstar/Eveningstar.” Years later, he started appearing in movies such as “To Die For,” “8MM,” and “Gladiator.”

In 2005, Phoenix’s rendition of the legendary singer Johnny Cash in “Walk the Line” turned him into an instant Hollywood sensation and award favorite. Since then, his list of notable roles has been impressive: he starred in “The Master,” “Her,” and the 2021 drama film “C’mon C’mon.”
