Pearl Thusi – “Queen Sono”
Born Sithembile Xola Pearl Thusi, Ms. Thusi is primarily an actress, but also a model and a presenter. She is perhaps best known to HBO and BBC television audiences that watched “The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency” comedy series, but she was also on “Quantico” and others.
As far as movies go, Thusi was in “Catching Feelings,” “Bulletproof 2,” and she is to be seen in “Wu Assassins: Fistful of Vengeance.” She is currently a series regular on “Queen Sono.” According to online data, Thusi was never married, but she does have two kids.
