Terry Pheto – “Tsotsi”

Born Moitheri Pheto, Terry received her international acclaim with her debut role in “Tsotsi,” which is a 2005 movie adaptation of the eponymous novel written by Athol Fugard. After that, she was in “Catch a Fire,” “A United Kingdom,” “Goodbye Bafana,” “How to Steal 2 Million,” and more movies.

Terry also worked on TV a lot and is known to audiences from “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “Madiba” TV shows. She was most recently seen in “Faces” in 2018. In 2008, L’Oreal chose Terry as their new face, and she was featured in many beauty magazines afterward. Her role in “Tsotsi” won her a South African Film and Television Award for best-supporting actress.
