If your previous house becomes a shrine, you know you’ve done excellent service to your country. Surprisingly, this event happened with the prior dwelling of Julia Gillard. Current occupants of the first female prime minister’s former residence decided to turn the house into “Gillard Shrine.”

You’re probably wondering why Gillard has a shrine. It’s because the owner admired the ex-legislator for breaking boundaries to hold the highest position in the government. Recently, the former public servant took a new role as Wellcome Trust’s chairman, the world’s most significant medical research and pandemics investor. No wonder someone created a shrine for this incredible woman!
