Samuel L. Jackson and LaTanya Richardson – Married Since 1980

Not all college romances go the distance, but actors Samuel L. Jackson and LaTanya Richardson’s relationship did. They first met as students—at Moorhouse and Spelman, respectively—in 1970, got married a decade later, and spent the next ones raising their daughter while pursuing their careers.

Asked about how they managed to stay together for all those years, Richardson said in an interview with Essence magazine that she tells the “Pulp Fiction” actor that she loves him before bed…even when they’re fighting. That said, Jackon, who starred in the film “The Protégé” in 2021, is one lucky man!
