Sigourney Weaver is known for playing tough, independent women on the screen. So, we were not shocked to find out that the “Alien” star made the first move when they first met at the Williamson Theater Festival in 1983. According to Female First, Sigourney asked Simpson for a dance, and he jokingly declined her offer.
They married a year later and welcomed their only child, Charlotte, who was conceived through IVF. Asked about her marriage for a 2021 cover story of InStyle magazine, the “You Again” actress said it’s as simple as sticking with a great guy and learning to work things out with him.
