Alan Alda & Arlene Alda – Married Since 1957
“M*A*S*H” actor Alan Alda and his wife Arlene Alda’s meet-cute was so sweet it went viral in 2021. As the story goes, the couple met as college students at a mutual friend’s dinner party when they were the only people to eat a rum cake after it had fallen on the ground.
That same easy-going attitude and ability to make each other laugh kept them in love throughout their six-decade marriage. The Alda’s share three daughters and have welcomed several grandchildren into their ever-growing family. As of 2019, Alan and Arlene reside in New Jersey, which they’ve called home since at least the ’90s.
