Stacking Turtle Towers

Let’s return to Dubai’s fascination with exotic creatures. This time, this photo grabbed our attention because of how these turtles were stacked to seemingly get closer to the sun. Unfortunately, these reptiles are critically endangered, so it is important to be careful with how we handle them.

During the 2022 Sea Turtle Day, 21 endangered hawksbills released in Dubai. On top of that, the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project has rehabilitated an amazing 1,600 turtles, releasing them back into their natural habitat. As per the Jumeirah website, this center located at Jumeirah Al Naseem have done this since being established in 2004.
