Blake Shelton – Striped Mullet

Country music and the mullet hairstyle go together perfectly. Many of the genre’s top acts, from Billy Ray Cyrus to Tim McGraw, wore it. Hell, even James Hetfield, vocalist for the heavy metal band Metallica had one and has a thing for country music.

Another country music superstar who famously had a mullet is Blake Shelton. He cut it off but, during the lockdown, he decided to grow it back as a symbol of hope to his fans that this will pass. Not content with being left out, his partner, Gwen Stefani, added a little rock n roll element to it by cutting stripes into the sides.
