Billy Porter – Christian Siriano

For a while, American actor-singer and writer Billy Porter has been known for his over-the-edge gowns on the red carpet. In 2019, the “Kinky Boots” star turned heads with his tuxedo gown at the Academy Awards. He was very much aware of people’s opinions, affirming that he had the gown on for attention.

Speaking to InStyle magazine, Porter said that getting noticed kept him in business and that, being in show business, he gets to eat by getting attention as part of his job. The Christian Siriano number blended a classical men’s tuxedo on the top half with a massive bottom-half bell skirt.
