Marco Rubio – Miami, $675K

The host of FIU’s 2021 Veterans Day Event, the American politician Marco Rubio used to brag about living in “the same working-class neighborhood” where he spent his childhood. While that was true for a while, the fact’s that Rubio decided to get rid of his close-to-the-heart Miami abode in 2013 to relocate to Washington.

While quite charming, Rubio’s 2,700-square-foot former Miami home sold for a discreet $675K. The unknown buyers gained access to four bedrooms and an oversized garage and ended up making Rubio’s bank account slightly fatter: he was able to cut a nice profit after acquiring the property for $550K almost a decade before.
