Before joining Joe Biden’s office as the 35th White House Press Secretary, she worked as an NBC News political analyst.

The first openly-gay Black woman to serve as White House Press Secretary, Jean-Pierre shares her beautiful Washington, D.C. residence with her partner, CNN correspondent Suzanne Malveaux, and their young daughter.
