A rising name in the political scene, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, made an impression at the 2021 Met Gala. She wore a white dress with the words “tax the rich” painted in bright red, making the most of the occasion to deliver a powerful political statement. But for all of her success, Ocasio-Cortez still lives in her home district.
In 2019, the NY Post reported that she’d left home, but she answered by saying, “I still live in my hood.” That’s right: Ocasio-Cortez still resides in the house her deceased father left her in the Bronx. It’s a Parkchester apartment that can be seen in some of her Instagram posts.
