Ben Carson – Virginia, $1.35 Million
A former neurosurgeon, Ben Carson, made headlines in 2021 for calling the vaccines a “giant experiment.” In addition to fueling an increasingly dangerous public debate, the American politician’s also been busy experimenting with the real estate market.
Little is known about his former Virginia home, which sits in Vienna (not the Austrian city) and was sold for $1.35 million in 2020. Reportedly, Carson acquired the place for just $1.22 million a couple of years before and made the most of its proximity to Washington—less than half an hour away.
