Steve Carell – Ice Hockey

Fans of Steve Carell probably know that he is a huge hockey fan, but it’s not just that as he was an ice hockey player growing up. He played ice hockey and lacrosse in high school. While attending Denison University, he was a goalie on the school’s Big Red hockey team and a Burpee’s Seedy Theatrical Company member.

Carell shared with ESPN that he had to decide whether to pursue a serious career in the sport or consider it a hobby. While he also aspired to play professional hockey, fate pulled him to acting. He is best known for “The Office” and was named “America’s Funniest Man.”
